Checkout and payment

The cart, splitting an order into truckloads, the 20-minute price lock, paying every load in one transaction, and net terms on quotes.

Published September 9, 2026

Buy-now listings are paid online. The cart is where you decide how the order ships; checkout is where you review every load and pay for all of them at once. Nothing is reserved and no order exists until the payment succeeds.

1. Build the schedule in the cart

The cart groups delivery schedules under each product. For each product you split the quantity into truckloads, and each load carries its own:

  • quantity, which must clear the seller’s checkout minimum and fit the truck;
  • complete delivery address, chosen from saved warehouses or entered and saved;
  • requested delivery window, no earlier than that product’s lead time;
  • dock access. A load with no dock carries its own lift-gate charge.

Details can be copied from one load to the next. A quantity that cannot be split into whole loads, or a schedule of more than ten loads, is sent to a quote before any payment.

You can build a cart signed out; it is kept in your browser and merged into your account when you sign in, which you must do before paying.

2. Review and pay at checkout

  • Checkout lists every load with its product tier price, freight and tax, and the combined total.
  • Freight is priced per load. The quote locks the whole schedule for 20 minutes; changing an address, date, dock, quantity or price after that needs a fresh quote, and the server checks your live cart against the locked snapshot before taking payment.
  • Tax is calculated from each load’s delivery address and pickup origin, and from the billing customer’s exemptions and tax IDs. Checkout collects billing details only; it does not ask you to re-enter delivery addresses.
  • One payment covers every scheduled load. When it succeeds, all the orders are created together. If any load cannot be created, none is, and the whole payment is refunded.

Cancelling an unpaid cart closes the payment session and restores the cart. A payment that is already processing cannot be cancelled as an unpaid cart. A full refund restores the locked quantities once.

3. After payment

The success page reads the real state of the attempt rather than trusting the browser, so a closed tab does not lose an order. Each load becomes its own order under Orders, with pickup and delivery scheduled on the order (see Freight and delivery). Invoices, payment methods and payouts are under Billing.

Paying a quote: prepay or terms

Your companyAccept meansThen
PrepayPay now through the hosted payment pageThe order is created when the payment succeeds
Net terms, credit approvedEnter a purchase order number and signAn unpaid order is created; an invoice is raised against the order with the terms’ due date and sent to you
Net terms, credit application under reviewWait for the decision, or pay now if the quote allows itThe terms button stays disabled until the application is decided
Net terms, no credit on fileApply for terms, or pay now if the quote allows itA purchase order can only be entered once credit is approved
What accepting a quote asks for

Paying now needs a signed-in payer who belongs to the quote’s company, or the person the quote was addressed to. Repackify is the merchant of record on every charge; the invoice is always raised against the order, never the quote.

Orders counted at pickup

Some products, such as pallet cores and IBC totes, are bought on an estimated quantity and counted at pickup. Those orders cannot be invoiced until the count is entered; see the count sheet.
