Listing on Repackify is free. Buyers find your listing by product, grade and distance, and their requests arrive in your dashboard priced at your own number. You can list before you have an account; the account is created when you confirm the listing.
Two ways to list
Without an account: the sell page
- Open Sell or the sell path of Request a quote. It asks for the product type, quantity, ZIP, an optional street address, photos, your name and email. The form names anything still missing beside the Continue button.
- We email you a one-time link. The email is only sent once the draft has at least one photo, and sending it locks the draft against further anonymous edits.
- Open the link, add any missing pickup address and product details, and submit for review. Mobile verification is offered but optional; payout setup can wait.
With an account: the listing wizard
From Inventory choose New listing. The wizard has three steps: photos, price and quantity; the pickup location; then condition, specs and how it ships. The last button is Submit for review.
What every listing must carry
- At least one photo. The first is the cover buyers see in search.
- Length, width and height. A listing without all three cannot be sent for review or published.
- A condition grade from the product’s grade set, and the quantity in stock.
- A price at your dock. Freight is quoted separately to the buyer. A delivered price stored on the listing would be charged twice, once inside the unit price and again as freight.
- Optional: a truck capacity, a checkout minimum, a lead time, and whether the listing sells by checkout or by quote only.
Review and publishing
Submitting puts the listing in review; publishing is a separate step by our team. A published listing decides its own sale mode from its price, stock and settings every time it loads. It sells by checkout only when it has a price, has stock at or above its checkout minimum, is not marked quote-only, and is above its low-stock threshold if one is set. Anything else sells by quote, so switching on quote-only or dropping to the low-stock threshold takes a priced listing off checkout without changing its price.
Where requests and orders arrive
- Opportunities: buyer requests near you, filtered by distance, product and whether you have answered.
- Orders: accepted deals, with the pickup proposal you send the buyer.
- New quote: a quote builder for your own customers.
On a brokered deal you see your own price and the pickup; the buyer’s identity, freight, tax and payment details stay with us.
Getting paid
A sale is never held up by payout setup. You can list, be accepted and ship before wiring a payout method; until you do, payment is settled to you manually. Billing holds payouts and invoices.
